Differences Between Linux and Windows

Linux is an open source operating system is a stable clone of UNIX systems, but unlike many versions of UNIX, most versions of Linux are free, Linux is designed to run on any PC because of its robustness and scalability. In 1991, Linus Torvalds, a student at the University of Helsinki in Finland, has developed the Linux kernel. He released it on the Internet and was freely available for download. Later in 1983, the Free Software Foundation (www.fsf.org) started to develop free software in a UNIX operating system free to create. This software was called GNU (guh-noo) utilities. This utility was link-up with the Linux kernel in 1991.

Windows is a closed source OS developed by Microsoft. Microsoft announced the development of Windows in 1983. Also graphical user interface (GUI) for its own operating system (DOS), which was for the IBM PC and compatible computers shipped since 1981. Windows is more modular and extensible. It has also real-time communication and performance, supported by all processors. Windows is designed to be part of network management controls, such as routers, switches, or mini-computer to manage the terminals.

Linux is known for its high reliability. Linux servers can run for years. Linux community is very difficult for hardware manufacturers to release binary-only drivers. The intention is to encourage manufacturers to develop device drivers open source. Unfortunately, most sellers are not willing to source their drivers release and it is very difficult for users to the drivers to all suppliers to use.
Microsoft has excellent relationships with hardware vendors. There are often conflicts with the use of drivers on the various versions of Microsoft Windows, but generally Windows users have access to an excellent third driver's third. There are tons of third-party drivers are available for Windows.
Free Applications
Linux applications are almost free and open source can be available under GNU Linux. GNU software runs on both Linux and FreeBSD without
Windows applications are not free and paid ones. There are fewer amounts of free applications available as compare to Linux.
Development Environment
Linux comes with GNU C, C++ compilers, interpreters and Editors and GDB
Windows include very few development tools and most of need to be purchased separately and most of rarely compatible with each other.
All Linux vendors offer some level support and other offer full 24X7 support. There are many website, blogs and forums offer free tutorials on Linux. Linux updates are available periodically.
There is no free support for Windows. Windows updates are not available frequently and you have to wait for years. There are very less support available for windows users on the internet.
Price and Total Cost
Linux is free. There is no licensing restrictions on Linux and can be installed on as many systems as you like without any cost.
Windows is not free. The server edition of Windows XP costs
nearly $700. Windows allow one copy for license.

Login Into Multiple Facebook Accounts: Step by Step Process

I'm sure most of us have multiple Facebook accounts. I have more than five Facebook accounts. . Why do we need more than one account? I would say that most of Privacy. I use one account for personal use and for other general use. Maybe you have another reason to use. But the question is how to simultaneously connect to Facebook accounts? Maybe you have tried to simultaneously connect to multiple accounts in the same browser, but no luck. So here, I decided to give some tips on how to connect to multiple Facebook accounts with any browser using different browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer to give. The following trick also works for Gmail, Myspace, Yahoo, etc.

Process for Firefox:

1. We use Firefox add-on called Multifox is a Firefox extension that allows you to connect to multiple accounts using different usernames at a time.
2. To Download Multifox Click Here.

3. After installation, you need to restart Firefox.

4. Now login with your first Facebook ID.

4. Then open a new tab and right click on the new tab to select "Open in a New Identify Profile".

5. Then login with your all other Facebook ID separately to see if it works or not.

Process for Chrome:

1. Google Chrome comes with an Incognite mode that allows you to login into multiple accounts.

2. Go to Google Chrome browser. 

3. Click on Tools icon and select New Incognito Window. Alternatively you can press Ctrl + Shift + N to open a new Incognito Window.

4. Now login into multiple Facebook Accounts.

Process for Internet Explorer:

1. InternetExplorer comes with a New Session mode that allows you to open brand new window session.

2. Open your Internet Explorer and login into your first Facebook account.

3. From menu bar click on File tab select New session. This will open a new window.

4. Now you should be able to login by using your second Facebook ID.

Apple TV: Planning to Display Live Television

Apple Set-Top Box

Apple Inc. is in talks with some of the largest U.S. cable operators to let consumers use a device like an Apple set-top box for live TV and other content, according to people familiar with the subject.

The talks represent the most ambitious crack Apple to infiltrate the show, after years of effort. Apple doesnot seem to have reached an agreement with the cable companies. One obstacle is the reluctance of operators to let Apple get a foothold in the TV sector.
The Wall Street Journal suggests Apple set-top box will be an alternative that "a few hundred dollars" instead of $ 10 - $ 15 per month for the standard used by cable companies. Companies such as TiVo boxes all the same, regardless of your decoder to replace using CableCARD technology.
